Two narrow dark boats lie drawn up on the bank at the lower right, prows raised; one is painted almost black, the other in grey-brown, both reduced to a few firm strokes. The water spreads to the left as a silvery-grey surface with horizontal reflections, and the middle bank rises into a tongue of green-brown land with a clump of bushes. The sky, nearly half the surface, is dark blue above and lightens towards the horizon, with heavy white clouds laid on thickly. The light falls evenly from above; nothing is detailed — the boats act as graphic accents on an otherwise calm surface.

The „Țărm” (Shore) series — eight works between 1990 and 2010, the sea always seen from above, from the rock. The rock is the cliff at Vama Veche: all eight were painted there, established by the family in August 2026. With them, the seaside stops being a single year's exception and becomes a place he returned to for twenty years.
