Ofrandă

A frontal view of a sacred interior: a large semicircular arch occupies the centre, resting on two white columns, with two smaller arches opening on either side, one maroon and one blue. The central vault is outlined by a border of small coloured squares like a mosaic; on the columns are strung white discs with red centres, like offerings fixed to their shafts. At the base of the wall a line of red, white and black stones runs the whole width, and the floor recedes in bands of ochre and violet. The paint is thick, laid in short strokes that leave the surface gritty, like an old plastered wall.
