Phantasm in September

Fantasmă în septembrie

A low house with white walls and a long grey metal roof stands at the lower left, half hidden by a tree with a white blossoming crown whose black trunk rises from the corner. Behind the house the hill climbs as a mass of white, blue, emerald and red accents, painted in short dense strokes that make the whole slope vibrate. An ochre road enters at the lower right and bends towards the house. The sky is a warm ochre-beige band closing the composition above. The light is that of September: still strong but already golden, and the white of the tree gathers it in the foreground.
